Grays Inn Food

Grays Inn Cafe, now Grays Inn Food, is a cafe owned and run by Chef Nick Male, serving lovely fresh food for breakfast and lunch on Grays Inn Road, London. The brief was to create an identity (with the possibility of changing the name) that was understated but modern and premium without being unobtainable and appearing too expensive. Something simple and effective and also not alienating existing customers. I created a simple logo based on the Grays Inn Road sign but I crafted the typography by drawing some bevel effect details to create interest and make it unique. I also designed window vinyls, hanging menus, t -shirts, printed menus and stickers. Fantastic photography by Claire Lane Photography.
